Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore Makes Dreams Come True!

The Big Dream Fund is a campaign created and overseen by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore (BBBSES) to help children facing adversity fulfill their dreams. Children served by BBBSES face unique challenges and adverse childhood experiences, but desire the opportunity to further their education, make friends, further their skills, and feel safe.

You can inspire and enable a local child facing adversity to become a ballerina, join a baseball team, go to summer camp, pay for driver’s education, have a down payment for their first car, afford college application fees, purchase an outfit for homecoming/prom, or simply have a bicycle. Through your support of the Big Dream Fund, BBBSES will provide children facing adversity with opportunities and resources not available otherwise to support their dreams. All children should have hopes and dreams for the future.

Children and parents apply for support or are nominated by their family members, mentors, or case manager by filling out an application expressing the child’s dream. After careful consideration and review of each application, the Big Dream Committee chooses awardees. Those chosen are called or emailed with acknowledgement of the award, and resources and funds will be distributed to the business or vendor associated with the child’s dream.
